Sussex Regimental Insignia, a very varied selection including four pairs of officers collar badges to the Cinque Ports/5th Bn Royal Sussex Regiment, one pair bullion embroidered and silk, three pairs silver plate and enamels, Sussex Imperial Yeomanry cap badges in gilding metal osd bronze and gilt (possibly a collar), a Sussex Yeomanry G/M cap badge, a w/m s/title T/5/Royal Sussex and a brass T/6/Royal Sussex, various standard s/titles including a rare large size ‘Royal Sussex’ in gilt metal, a pair of officers collar badges in silver, gilt and enamels, an 1855 pattern o/r waist belt clasp to the Royal Sussex Light Infantry Militia (heavily worn), a fine quality hall marked silver gilt medal to the 1st VB dated June 1892 and named to Private W. Ilsley, together with many other standard issue caps and collar badges, good overall condition (60+) £300-400
