The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) 2nd Battalion Pipe Major’s Sporran Cantle and Baldric Slide c. 1881 - 1939, the first in heavy die cast silver plate features thistle sprays the Sphinx and the Dragon, a mullet and double headed eagle, blank battle honour scrolls and unit title ‘2nd Scottish Rifles’, two screw post fasteners; the second in die cast silver plate, the front featuring a title plinth ‘Cameronians’ amidst thistle and oak sprays, retailed by P. Henderson, Glasgow, very good overall condition (2)
