2979 Private F. Cooper, 2nd Battalion Royal Lancaster Regiment, wounded at Spion Kop, 24 January 1900. Invalided on 21 March 1900. The Salford Reporter lists him as of ‘8 Ellor Street, Pendleton’. With copied research.
