G. Willis enlisted on 1 February 1888, aged 23 years, 10 months. Served with the Middlesex Regiment in India, September 1889-January 1891. Transferred to the Army Reserve, he was later recalled in December 1899 and served with the 2nd Battalion in South Africa, December 1899-June 1900. Discharged at the termination of his period of service on 11 March 1901. With copied roll extract and some service details.
