(Military) Knight Commander’s neck badge, gold and enamels, Georgian hallmarks but date letter obscured, probably by John Northam, complete with full neck cravat and gold clasp fitments; breast star, silver gold and enamels, the reverse backplate inscribed ‘Widdowson & Veale, Goldsmiths, 73 Strand, London’, maker’s mark ‘WN’ for William Neale, fitted with gold pin for wearing, the set in its R & S Garrard & Co fitted case of issue, clasp faulty on this, minor losses to enamel on wreaths, otherwise good very fine £3000-4000
