William Vaughan was born in Hornsey. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Royal Fusiliers, he landed at Gallipoli on 25 June 1915. He was killed in action during the Third Battle of Krithia, 28 June 1915. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.

William A. K. McKidd was born in Barmuckity, near Elgin, Scotland. Serving with the 1/6th Battalion (Morayshire) Seaforth Highlanders he entered France on 10 November 1915. Probably in the heavy fighting the battalion was involved in during 9-12 April 1917 McKidd was mortally wounded. He died of his wounds on 27 April 1917 and was buried in the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery.

William Thomas Stanton was born in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire and lived in Hedley Borden, Hampshire. Serving with the 6th Battalion Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry he entered France on 22 July 1915. On 2 February 1918 following severe losses the 6th Battalion was disbanded and Stanton was posted to the 2nd Battalion. With them he was killed in action on 1 October 1918 and was buried in the Anneux British Military Cemetery.
