Charles Arthur Hiscock later transferred to the Machine Gun Corps and was killed in action on the Somme on 5 July 1916, while serving in the 56th Company, M.G.C. (Infantry). He was 30 years old and the husband of Ellen Mary Hiscock of “Acacia”, Jumpers Road, Christchurch, Hampshire. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.

John McGhee first entered the Gallipoli theatre of war on 19 July 1915 and later served in the Worcestershire Regiment.

Harry Turner first entered the Egypt theatre of war on 12 December 1915.
