Waterloo 1815 (James Lancashire, Royal Horse Guards.) fitted with contemporary replacement hinged silver bar suspension and silver ribbon buckle, light bruising and contact marks and a little polished, otherwise nearly very fine £2200-2600

James Lancashire was born in Manchester and enlisted for the Royal Horse Guards at Salford on 1 May 1805, aged twenty-two for unlimited service. He was discharged due to ‘length of service’ on 24 April 1827, after 22 years 1 month, including 2 years for Waterloo. Sold with copied discharge papers.
