1822 Pattern Light Cavalry Officer’s Sword (although described as regular Infantry in the Wilkinson’s Sale Register), the 84 cm bright blade with single fuller by Henry Wilkinson, London, (21565) etched with the family crest and name E.Vansittart would appear to be a custom made weapon as it is devoid of all other decoration, triple bar steel hand guard, wire bound fish skin grip complete with its leather covered wooden service scabbard, considerable wear to the fish skin grip otherwise very good condition £200-300
