1st Royal Lancashire Militia Officer’s Pouch Belt Plate c.1856 - 1881, a very fine example being the regimental conversion from the discarded shoulder belt plate, a crowned gilt circle with green enamelled leaf decoration enclosing a gilt rose with red and green enamel decoration, this mounted on a facetted silver star this in turn being fitted with a shaped back plate, two hook and one stud fastener, the back plate is hall marked Birmingham 1852 by J & Co., no gilt remains on the crown and there are enamel losses to the central rose otherwise good condition £250-350
