Baltic 1854-55; Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Sebastopol, disk set within a separate mount; Ottoman Empire, Order of Medjidie, 5th Class, silver, gold and enamel; Turkish Crimea 1855, Sardinian issue, the set together with a copied photograph of the recipient mounted in a glazed frame, 262 x 204mm., good very fine (4) £100-140

A label on the back of the frame reads, ‘Lt. Col. E. D. Thelwall, Enbule Daysh Thelwall, R.M.A. Served Baltic on H.M.S. Leopard. [ditto] Crimea. Seconded with Artillery Section of Turkish Army. Photo R.M. Depot 1912 dated Birkhampstead 1912 or 13 on Special Pension.’
