Royal Military College Sandhurst King’s Medal, G.V.R. (Stephen R. Fox, 1933) 18ct. gold, hallmarks for London 1932, 56.63g., in case of issue, extremely fine (3) £1400-1800

Captain Stephen Richard Fox, 1st Battalion King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, was killed in action, in Norway on 26 April 1940, aged 28 years. He was buried in the Kvam Churchyard.

With two privately named medals: 1939-45 Star (Capt. S. R. Fox 1 K.O.Y.L.I.); War Medal 1939-45 (Capt. S. R. Fox, ‘C’ Coy. 1 K.O.Y.L.I. K.I.A. Apr. 1940 Kvam Norway).
