Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (James Dawkins), good very fine £40-50

Attributed to James Dawkins, who was killed in action on 2 November 1914, while serving as a Private in the 1st Battalion, Hampshire Regiment. Aged 38 years, he was the husband of Frances Dawkins of 48, Howards Grove, Shirley, Birmingham. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial.
