Royal Navy L.S. & G.C. (2), G.VI.R., 1st issue (J.109599 G. A. Pollard A.B. H.M.S. Hydrangea; KX.79556 G. C. H. Hall A/S.P.O. H.M.S. Vervain) last with one digit of service number overstruck, good very fine and better (2) £100-140

Pollard was awarded the L.S. & G.C. on 21 April 1941 and Hall on 21 December 1943. H.M. Ships Hydrangea and Vervain were Flower class corvettes. H.M.S. Vervain was torpedoed and sunk by the U-1276 off Ireland on 20 February 1945. With copied research.
