Deputy Superintendent Frederick Lakeland Clifford, Aden Police was awarded the R.V.M. on 27 November 1911 on the occasion of H.M. The King’s visit to Aden.

It is believed that the ‘R.V.M.’ Clifford and the ‘Suakin’ Clifford are one and the same.

With copied research on the recipient and his family.
