George Bennett was born in the Parish of Kinson, Wimborne, Dorset. A Labourer by occupation, he attested at Dorchester on 16 July 1890, aged 18 years, 3 months. Private G. Bennett, 2nd Battalion Dorsetshire Regiment, died of enteric fever at Ladysmith on 7 May 1900. With some copied research.
