Henry Orchard was born and lived in Ramsbury, Wiltshire and enlisted at Marlborough. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Wiltshire Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 18 October 1916. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. With copied casualty details.

Charles Wyndham Barnes was born in Heywood, Westbury, Wiltshire, lived in The Beeches, Yarnbrook, Trowbridge and enlisted at Trowbridge. Serving in the 2nd Battalion Wiltshire Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 1 June 1918. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Soissons Memorial With an original postcard addressed to Miss Barnes, of Ivy House, Heywood, Westbury, Wilts and with copied casualty details and copied photograph of the recipient.
