Private William John Goddard, 2nd Battalion Wiltshire Regiment, died of disease at Woodstock, South Africa on 7 April 1902. His name is commemorated on the Boer War Memorial in Salisbury Cathedral and on a memorial plaque in St. Peter’s Church at Devizes, Wiltshire. Only four medals with this clasp combination to the Wiltshire Regiment. With copied research.
