Anglesey, Amlwch, Parys Mine Co, die trial of the obv. for a Pattern Halfpenny [1790], by R. Dumarest, in copper, druid’s head encircled by wreath with 15 acorns, fringe to hood, edge plain, struck in collar, 17.22g (DH 383). Bad scratch (inflicted in recent times) running north-south and a metal fault on edge at 10 o’clock, otherwise extremely fine, of the highest rarity £400-500
