A rare Anglo Boer-War ‘Distinguished Service Decoration’ group of five awarded to Lieutenant G. H. J. Kruger, Staatsartillerie, later 4th South African Mounted Rifles

Anglo-Boer War Dekoratie voor Trouwe Dienst 1899-1902 (Luit.); Anglo-Boer War Medal 1899-1902 (Luit.); 1914-15 Star (Lt., 4th S.A.M.R.); British War and Bi-Lingual Victory Medal (Lt.) B.W.M. officially re-impressed; together with a small gold medal, obverse with arms and ‘Eendragt Maakt Magt’, reverse numbered ‘239’, double loop suspension, green ribbon, and top brooch bar inscribed ‘Z.A.R.’, marks for 9 carat, and makers mark ‘R.M.P.’, generally nearly very fine or better (6) £600-800
