Gateshead Life Saving Award, silver cross, hallmarked Birmingham 1903, the obverse central shield in gold and inscribed ‘Presented to S. Renforth by the Mayor of Gateshead, Mr F. Finn’, the reverse silver shield inscribed ‘For saving the life of a boy named Fisher, 15th Aug. 1899’, surmounted by crown and fitted with scroll suspension and silver ribbon brooch, very fine £80-100
