Miniature Medals

Naval General Service 1793-1840, 2 clasps, 1 June 1794, St. Vincent (John Brown) very fine £300-350

The rolls confirm entitlement to both clasps as Able Seaman on Royal George at the Glorious First of June, and as Ordinary Seaman aboard Edgar at St Vincent. This medal was sold by Spink in 1995 with the St Vincent clasp only, since when the 1 June 1794 clasp has been expertly added. Numerous other men with these names are shown on the rolls.
