21 (Kohat) M.B. Frontier Force: landed in Egypt in October 1914 for the defence of the Suex Canal. In April 1915, it landed at Gallipoli and fought the Turks until the evacuation to Egypt in December 1915.
22 (Derajat) M.B. Frontier Force: one section only of this battery was deployed from Maymyo to the Kachin Hills of North Burma between 30 January and 23 February 1915.
23 (Peshawar) M.B. Frontier Force: landed at Basra in November 1914 and fought the Turks in Mesopotamia until returning to India in December 1916.
25 (Bombay) M.B.: two sections only of this battery formed part of the Persian Cordon (one section at Seistan, the other at Robat) from November 1915 to the end of April 1917.
26 (Jacob’s) M.B.: services as for 21 M.B.
27 (Bengal) M.B.: landed in East Africa with Force ‘C’ in October 1914 and fought the German colonial forces until returning to India in January 1918.
28 (Lahore) M.B.: landed in East Africa with Force ‘B’ in October 1914 and fought the German colonial forces until returning to India in May 1917.
29 (Murree) M.B.; two sections of this battery were deployed in the Tochi Valley, North West Frontier, from March 1915 until May 1918.
