Frederick Bundy was born at Walcot, Bath, Somerset, in January 1872, and enlisted there in September 1892. He was invalided from South Africa and discharged Medically Unfit at Newport, Monmouthshire, in December 1900, despite which, he lived on until December 1952, when he died of cerebral thrombosis, aged 81.
