Although the impressed naming is of the correct style, the regimental details differ from the usual ‘42nd or R.H. Reg. Infantry’.

Thomas Little was born in the Parish of North Quarter, Glasgow, and enlisted in August 1811. He was discharged on 17 July 1816, in consequensce of ‘a gun shot wound of the left leg and wound of the thigh by a lance in action at Quatre Bras on the 16th June 1815.’ Sold with copy service papers.
