The reverse legend is taken from Galatians 6:2, ‘Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.’ St. Paul's, Calliaqua, was built in 1840 at a cost of £1,385 and measured 64 by 35 feet. The medal depicts a small steeple, missing from the church as it stands today. The first curate appointed was R.A. Warner, A.C., in April 1841, then Alexander Dasent in 1843. Brandon notes ‘1 known’
