George David Glover was born at Greenwich on 24 September 1872, and joined the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class in February 1888. He joined the Royal Yacht Victoria & Albert in January 1894 and served aboard it continuously until May 1914, after which he joined the Royal Fleet Reserve. Sold with copy service record and confirmation of Coronation Medal.
