1914-15 Star (65249 Pte., R.A.M.C.); British War and Victory Medals (65249 Pte., R.A.M.C.); The Royal Victorian Medal, Silver, G.V.R.; Roumania, Cross of Service, 1st class; Belgium, Household Medal, silver-gilt, together with certificate for the R.V.M., warrant for Roumanian decoration (6 June 1921), two photographs of the recipient, and another of the Governor of Bengal with his wife, good very fine (6) £150-200

George Horn served with the Royal Army Medical Corps during the war, 1915-18, and was discharged after being wounded in the eye. He went with Lord Lloyd as House Steward to H.E. the Governor of Bengal at Government House, Bombay, and was there during the visit of the Prince of Wales 1921-22. He received the Silver R.V.M. in on 17 March 1922. Sold with further details.
