Thomas Walden was born at Burton Green and enlisted at Kenilworth, Warwick. He was killed in action at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915, during the initial landings at ‘X’ Beach, by the Royal Fusiliers. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.
