Harry Watson Penn was born in Southwark and lived at Carshalton. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 23 April 1917, whilst serving with the 10th (Stockbrokers) Battalion, Royal Fusiliers. He is buried at Chili Trench Cemetery, Gavrelle, France.
