A large and bulky group of decorations, diplomas, etc., awarded to Professor Dennis Pritt, Q.C., onetime Labour M.P., prominent in law and politics for over half a century, a controversial figure who played a part in almost every left-wing cause from the Russian Revolution to Vietnam, and from the hunger marches to the pay freeze, comprising numerous Communist bloc awards including the rare Lenin Peace Prize gold medal (1954), Order of Georgi Dimitrov (1964), Star of International Friendship (1965), Gold Medal of Czechoslovak Society of International Friendship (1968), all cased; various Diplomas for Honorary Doctorates of foreign universities, these all in presentation boxes or leather tubes, photograph albums, etc., generally extremely fine (Lot) £300-500
