World war ii battledress tunic, 1940 pattern and dated March 1942 and bearing a Captain’s rank insignia, five WWII medal ribbons, two woven shoulder titles ‘S.A.S’ very pale blue on maroon and the woven SAS parachute and wings badge on the upper right arm, these badsges not removed for inspection but appear to be period items; the WD label inked ‘Harington’ (correct spelling) and later crudely marked ‘Major Harrington’; together with an undated pair of of BD trousers; a fine cotton KD shirt with Cashs’ woven label ‘Dallas Harington’, an unnamed KD tunic (no insignia), two standard cotton shirts and a pair of canvas gaiters dated 1939, these originally inked ‘R.D.H’ with ‘ARINGTON’ added later, the tunic with a few small moth holes and evidence of other divisional signs otherwise good general condition overall (8) £100-150
