Northumberland & Newcastle Yeomanry 1820, silver medal, 38 mm, obv. Royal cypher with regimental title around; rev. inscription in 9 lines ‘Presented by Lt.-Col. Brandling on the occasion of the presentation of colours to the Regiment March 24th 1820’, the edge inscribed ‘Capt. Dixon Brown’, fitted with a steel clip suspension; together with a similar medal with rev. inscription in 12 lines ‘Presented by Lt.-Col. Brandling to...in recognition of valuable services rendered in connection with the organization of the Regiment. Jan.-March 1820’, the edge inscribed ‘Mrs Dixon Brown’; together with a similar piece to the first, struck in bronze, generally nearly extremely fine and the named examples scarce (3) £200-250
