Ex Whitaker collection.

One officer and 23 other ranks of the Connaught Rangers, were present at Abu Klea in the Mounted Infantry Camel Regiment.

Private R. Jackson was wounded two days after the Battle of Abu Klea, at the Village of Mettemmeh on 19 January 1885. Sold with confirmation.
