Thomas Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924), 28th President of the United States, is best remembered for his legislative programme of domestic reforms, for guiding his country through the latter stages of World War I and for helping to establish the Treaty of Versailles, for which he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1919
