L’Armée Belge Rejoint les Armées Allies, 1914, a large uniface cast bronze plaque for the reverse of the Siège d’Anvers medal, unsigned [by P. Wissaert], robed female figure of Belgium holding standard and sword aloft, being welcomed by two other female figures, date in exergue, 415mm (cf. Spink 17.vii.97, 157; cf. Bonhams 9.xii.97, 192; cf. Simmons FPL 13, 193). A most impressive image, very fine and virtually as made (£60-80)
