Charles I (1625-1649), Chester mint, Halfcrown, mm. prostrate gerb, horseman left, rev. crowned oval shield with lion-skin garniture, colon before legend, 14.78g/6h (Bull 578a; Lyall a/i; SCBI Brooker 1113, same dies; N 2628; S 3131). Clash marks below horse as usual, traces of old staining, otherwise good fine or better, very rare £1,500-2,000
