Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Milled coinage, Pattern Groat or medalet, 1601, cast in silver, mm. star on obv. only, crowned bust of Queen three-quarters left, wearing high ruff, rev. crowned monogram, 4.42g/6h (BMC 8; N 2050). Has been gilt, otherwise fine, reverse better, rare £250-300
