British War and Victory Medals (78211 2 A.M. C. E. V. Wagstaff, R.A.F.), good very fine (2) £60-80

Claude Eric Vyner Wagstaff, who was from Dring in North Yorkshire, originally enlisted in the Army in November 1915, but transferred to the Royal Flying Corps in February 1917, the same month he took up duties as a Signaller (Telegraphist) in No. 14 Balloon Company in France, and he remained similarly employed until the War’s end.
