Pair: Private H. Greenhow, 1/23rd Battalion London Regiment, killed in action, 16 September 1916

British War and Victory Medals (5635 Pte., 23-Lond. R.); Memorial Plaque (Herbert Greenhow); together with a Gold Sports Medal, ‘S.R.R.C. Rosemary Cup 1913’, the centre bearing the cypher ‘HG’, extremely fine (4) £180-220

Private Herbert Greenhow, 1/23rd Battalion London Regiment, was killed in action on 16 September 1916. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.

The medals with plaque and the gold medal in matching black wooden (damaged) glazed cases - 413 x 311mm. and 208 x 189mm.
