Pair: Private R. Fowler, Northamptonshire Regiment

Reginald George Powell Fowler was born in London. A Draper by occupation, he attested for the Northamptonshire Regiment at London on 21 July 1891, aged 19 years, 8 months. He served in India, October 1892-March 1899. For his services on the N.W. Frontier he was awarded the India Medal with three clasps. Having been transferred to the Army Reserve in March 1899, he was recalled to the Colours in October and served in South Africa, October 1899-July 1900. For his services in the Boer War he was awarded the Queen’s medal with four clasps and a War Gratuity of £5. He was once more transferred to the Army Reserve in April 1902 and was discharged on 20 July 1903.
