Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, dated reverse, no clasp (R. French, Cooper, H.M.S. “Dragon”); Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., V.R., narrow suspension (Richd. French, Cooper, H.M.S. Dragon); Khedive’s Star, 1882, unnamed, good very fine and better (3) £220-260

Richard French was born in Oakhampton, Devon on 3 December 1842. Rated as a Coper he entered the Royal Navy in July 1865. Served on Dragon, February 1879-October 1882. Shore Pensioned in 1885.

With copied service papers and roll extract.
