Provenance: Needes Collection 1922, sold Glendining, February 1940; Glendining, September 1950.

John Worman enlisted into the 48th Foot on 22 August 1807, and served with them until 7 March 1816, when he was transferred to the 2nd Veteran Battalion. He was discharged to pension on 4 July 1821, suffering from ‘diseased lower jaw & wounded at Pampluna’. Sold with copied Chelsea Hospital admission book entry.
