Provenance: Cleghorn Collection 1872; Whitaker Collection 1890.

John Hough enlisted into the 2/44th Foot, from the Lancashire Militia, on 1 April 1813. He served in Captain Crozier’s Company at Waterloo, and was still present in the muster for 24 February 1816, when the battalion was disbanded.

Sold with copied muster rolls.
