Provenance: Spink, December 1998.

Joseph Thomson was born in the Parish of St Cuthbert’s, Midlothian. He fought at Waterloo in Captain Fraser’s Company and is shown in the muster roll immediately after the battle as being in hospital, therefore possibly wounded. He died at Dundalk on 29 August 1818, his trade at enlistment being given as jeweller and lapidary.

Sold with copied muster rolls.
