Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 5 clasps, Relief of Kimberley, Paardeberg, Driefontein, Johannesburg, Diamond Hill (3566 Pte. J. Leveridge, Norfolk Regt.) very fine £120-160

James Leveridge was born in Watton, Norfolk. A Labourer by occupation, he attested for the Norfolk Regiment on 27 August 1893, aged 18 years. He served with the 2nd Battalion in South Africa, May 1896-June 1897 and November 1899-September 1902 - earning the British South Africa Co. Medal for Rhodesia 1896 and the above Q.S.A. Transferred to the Army Reserve in February 1902, he was discharged on 26 January 1905. With copied service papers and Q.S.A. roll extract.
