Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 4 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901 (351 Pte. J. Daly, K.R.R.C.) minor edge bruising, good very fine £80-100

Jeremiah Daly was born in Mallow, Co. Cork. A Sawyer by occupation, he attested for the K.R.R.C. Militia at Mallow on 30 April 1885, aged 18 years. Served in the 9th Battalion (North Cork Militia) King’s Royal Rifle Corps. With them he served in South Africa, 13 January 1900-31 July 1901.

Time expired 29 April 1903. Jeremiah Daly of 3 Northgate Street, Athlone, Co. Westmeath died on 11 October 1932.
