China 1842 (James Mason, 55th Regiment Foot) original straight bar suspension, some contact marks, very fine

James Mason enlisted into the 55th Regiment at London on 29 April 1840. Served in China 1841-43, being stationed at Hong Kong, Amoy, Chusan and Chinhae. He died at Hong Kong on 4 July 1843. With copied service details.
