William Head is confirmed on the roll for Navarino as a Corporal, Royal Marines, aboard H.M.S. Asia. Another man, possibly the same one, is shown on the roll for Syria, also as a Corporal, Royal Marines, aboard Asia. The medal for Syria was sold by Spink in December 1984.
