Ex Debenham July 1899 and Glendining’s September 1961.

Served as an Ordinary Seaman aboard H.M.S. Belleisle at the assault and capture of the island of Martinique during February 1809. As an Able Seaman aboard H.M.S. Achille he was additionally entitled to the clasp ‘23 November Boat Service 1810’ for the attack upon French gunboats at Port St. Mary, Cadiz, Spain.
